Although it was his only hit of the night in five at-bats, Jorge Soler’s homerun was very important as it ended last night’s game. The Cuban outfielder’s hit ended up in the stands and powered Miami to a 5-4 walk-Off victory over the Nationals. For the slugger it was his 10th longball of the campaign and he augmented his RBI total to 22 on the season.
Adolis García went yard for the 11th time on the season and he also knocked in two runs to do his part in Texas ‘ 7-4 win against the Atlanta Braves. García who has driven in 15 runs in his last 15 games now leads MLB with 44 RBIs.

Yennier Canó and Cionel Pérez combined to hurl three scorless innings and struck out three to do there part in a Baltimore 7-3 triumph over the Angels. Canó has yet to allow a run in 20.2 innings pitched this season, while Pérez has 1.35 ERA in his last seven games.
Nolan Arenado deposited his eighth ball in the seats this season and also homered for the fifth game in a row, but his best efforts could not prevent a 3-2 Cardinal loss to Milwaukee. The Cuban-American third baseman has driven in 13 runs in his last seven games and also hits .414 over that span.
