Peter O’Brien drives in two in Puebla’s victory. (+Mexican League Report)

Peter O’Brien went yard and drove in two runs in four trips to the plate in Puebla’s 3-2 win over Tabasco. For the Cuban-American slugger it was his eighth longball on the campaign to go along with 16 runs batted in.

Although he did not factor in decision for Tabasco Carlos Juan Viera hurled six impeccable innings where he only allowed a hit and fanned four, but the relief did not hold the 1-0 league he exited with. The righty saw his ERA fall to a miniscule 1.64 on the season.
