Yordan Álvarez hit his 10th bomb off the season and knocked in two runs to be the catalyst in Houston’s 3-2 triumph over Oakland. The Cuban Giant who is hitting .292 is also third in the majors with 41 runs batted on the campaign.
A day after giving up a run, Yennier Canó returned to form. The flamethrowing right-hander pitched a scoreless inning where he gave up a hit, but saw his ERA fall to a miniscule 0.38. The Orioles edge the Bluejays 6-5. Cano who has unhittable this campaign also has nine holds and three saves.

Adolis García has been an RBI machine this season. Last night the slugger from Ciego de Avila, Cuba drove in a run via a fielder’s choice in four at-bats and also scored two times in Texas’ 11-5 win over Colorado. García leads MLB with 49 runs batted in.
Yandy Díaz returned off a minor knick and continued to have a career year. The first baseman hit his 11th longball of the season, a three-run shot in the fourth inning. The Rays doubled up the Brewers by an 8-4 count on the evening and Díaz is now hitting a robust .333 on the season.
