Yuli Gurriel’s four hits are key in Miami’s win. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Two night after his brother Lourdes has a perfect evening at the plate Yuli Gurriel duplicated the feat. The first baseman like his sibling stroked four hits in as many trips to the plate, knocked in a run and scored twice to be the catalyst in Miami’s 10-2 thrashing of Colorado. With the immaculate evening his average rose to .291 on the campaign.

His teammate and countrymen Jorge Soler also helped the Marlins cause by slugging his 14th longball of the year and also driving in a run. The outfielder has now gone yard seven times in his last 15 games.

Raisel Iglesias notched his first win of the season after pitching a ninth inning in which he gave a hit, but no runs and fanned a batter. The Braves edged the Dodgers 4-3 and the righty saw his ERA fall to .491 on the season. In defeat for LA Miguel Vargas and J.D. Martínez combined for four hit, and RBI and run scored.
