Adeiny Hechavarria knocks in two in Long Island’s win. (+Independent League Report)

Adeiny Hechavarria laced a two-run single in the second inning to collect his only on the night in five at-bats and also scored once on the evening to do his part in Long Island’s 9-3 win over Staten Island in the Atlantic League. The shortstop from Santiago de Cuba saw his batting average fall to .303 on the season.
