Félix Pérez goes yard in Tijuana’s loss to Tabasco ( +Mexican League Report)

Félix Pérez launched his league leading 11th homerun in four at-bats to account for Tijuana’s 2-1 loss to Tabasco. The slugger from the Isle of Youth is fourth in México with 30 RBIs. The reigning league MVP is staking his claim to be in the running for the award this season.

Yadiel Hernández hit his third longball of the year in Monterrey’s defeat at the hands of Aguascalientes 7-6. Hernández is starting to come alive with that after hitting a lull in the last few games.

Henry Urrutia collected two hits, went yard and knocked in two runs, but Saltillo fell to Yucatán 8-6. The defending batting champion in the LMB has now driven in 24 runs on the campaign.
