Soler hits #21 in Miami’s win. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Jorge Soler hit his 2st longball of the season, lifted a sacrifice fly and knocked in three runs to play his part in the Marlins 11-0 blanking of the Bluejays. The outfielder has hit four homeruns and driven in 10 runs in his last 15 games. Soler is second in the National League and third in MLB in roundtrippers this season.

Tristón Casas hit 8th homer of the campaign, drove in two runs and scored twice to lead the Redsox in their 9-3 thrashing of Twins. The Cuban -American slugger is hitting a solid .280 en his last seven games.

Adolis García hit a run-scoring double in the top of the first to get the scoring started in Texas’ 5-2 victory over Chicago. García who now has 57 RBIs on the season is second in the majors in that statistical category. Luis Robert swatted his 18th homer of the season and drove in two runs in defeat for the pail holes.
