Randy Arozarena collected three hits in three trips to the plate, this included a single, a double, a homerun and two runs batted in, the Cuban outfielder basically fell a triple short of the cycle in Tampa’s 7-2 win over Baltimore. Yandy Díaz also did his part for the Rays with two hits in four at-bats and a RBI to watch his average ascend to .303 on the season.

Dairon Blanco knocked in a run via a ninth inning double and also scored on an occasion, but Kansas City still fell to Detroit 9-4. The recently called up outfielder is hitting .261 on the campaign.

Miguel Vargas hit a key ninth inning homerun to cement a 2-0 blanking of the Angels by the Dodgers in their cross-city rivalry. For the Cuban infielder it was his seventh roundtripper of the campaign and it snapped a slump that saw him hitting .042 in his last seven games.
