Drake collects three hits in shutout of Guadalajara. (+Mexican League Report)

Yadir Drake collected three and drove in a run to aid the cause in Yucatán’s 10-0 blanking of Guadalajara. The slugger raised his average to .330 on the campaign and augmented his RBI total to 37. The All-Star has been a key cog in the defending champions offense this season.

Onelki García in his own right tossed four scoreless innings where he allowed two hits and struck out four, but was inexplicably removed from the game without being given chance to pitch a fifth inning, this would have put him in line for the victory. His ERA descend to 2.81 on the season.

Yuniesky Larduet and Yosmany Guerra combined for three hits and two runs in Campeche’s 6-0 win over Tabasco. The one-two punch of the Piratas are hitting .312 and .340 respectively.
