The right-hander from Pinar del Río, Cuba is now tied for the Central League saves lead, kept his ERA at 0.00 and increased his strikeout total to 35 on the season. His countrymen and teammate Dayán Viciedo went 1-for-5, with a single and an RBI, to leave his average at .227 on the campaign.

Liván Moinelo picked up his third win of the season after giving up one run and one hit in an inning of relief in the SoftBank Hawks’ 3-2 win over the Rakuten Eagles at the Fukuoka Pay Pay Dome. His ERA rose to 1.05 on the season.
