Henry Urrutia goes yard in Saltillo’s win. (+Mexican League Report)

Henry Urrutia went yard for the 12th time on the season in his three trips to the plate and drove in a run to do his part in Saltillo’s 4-3 win over Guadalajara. The defending league batting champion is now hitting .299 and has knocked in 41 runs on the season.

Peter O’Brien collected two hits in four at-bats and drove in two runs in Puebla’s 10-3 thrashing of Campeche. The Cuban-American slugger who is having a career year is now batting .352 and leads the LMB with a 1.093 OPS.

Yuniesky Larduet and Yosmany Guerra combined for three hits and two RBIs in a loss for the Piratas. The two speedsters hit .289 and .339 respectively on the campaign.
