Adolis García hit his third grand slam of the season and his 25th longball of the campaign to lead Texas in their 13-5 thrashing of the Houston Astros. The outfielder drove in four runs and is the MLB leader with 84. “El Bombi” is now hitting .259 this year.

Johan Oviedo tossed six where he gave up a run via three hits and fanned five in Pittsburgh’s 3-2 win over San Diego. The righty from Havana won his fourth game and watched his ERA fall to 4.60 on the season.

Carlos Rodón notched his first win on the season after hurling 5 ⅔ innings of four-hit, one-run ball and struck four to cement the Yankees 3-1 victory over their cross-town rival Mets. The Cuban-American lefty now sports a 5.75 earned run average on the campaign.
