Late last night the Los Angeles Angels acquired on of the Chicago White Sox top hurlers, Lucas Giolito, but one of the biggest pieces in the trade was the California squads #2 prospect. For the the right-hander and Reynaldo López the halos gave up their #2 (Edgar Quero) and #3 (Ky Bush) prospects.
Quero who signed in February of 2021 for 200,000 has moved rapidly through the minors leagues and projects to be in the big show by 2025 at the latest. The young Cuban has gone to U-15 phenom to a top catching prospect in no time.
