Aroldis Chapman continues to have a nice bounce back season. Last night in the Rangers 5-3 win over Oakland, the lefty tossed a scoreless eighth inning in relief where he fanned three of the four batters he faced to notch his 12th hold of the season.

The flamethrower saw his ERA fall to 2.40 on the season and he has now struck out 76 batters in 41 ⅓ innings of work on the season. Adolis García also aided the cause with a double and two runs scored in four trips to the plate.

Jorge Soler went yard for the 27th time on the season and drove in a run in the Marlins 5-2 loss to Cincinnati. The Cuban slugger now sports a robust .491 slugging percentage.
