Ariel Martínez hit a double in five at-bats, scored two times and drove in two runs to help the Nippon Ham Fighters in their 9-0 win over the SoftBank Falcons at the Fukuoka Pay Pay Dome.

The native of Matanzas, Cuba has knocked in six runs in his last three games, lowered his average to .243, but increased his total RBIs to 50 on the season. The slugger is the leader amongst Latino players in the category in the NPB.
