Tristón Casas goes yard in Boston’s win. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Tristón Casas went yard for the 19th time on the season, a three-run shot in the fourth inning and scored on an occasion to lead Boston to a 5-2 win over Detroit. The Cuban-American slugger is hitting a robust .342 after the All-Star break.

Yandy Díaz and Randy Arozarena combined for three hit, two runs batted in and scored two runs to do their part in Tampa’s 9-8 win over Cleveland. The two sluggers now hit .318 and .256 respectively, Díaz is actually second in the American League in that statistical category.

Although Chicago fell to Milwaukee 9-7, Yoan Moncada collected two hits in five trips to the plate and knocked in a run via a single in the bottom of the first. The infielder is hitting a solid a .286 in his last seven games.
