Raisel Iglesias notched his 28th save on the season after hurling a scoreless ninth inning in which he only allowed a hit to preserve Atlanta’s 8-7 victory over Los Angeles. The right-hander from the Isle of Youth also struck out a batter ti watch his ERA descend to 2.62 on the campaign.
The hurler has been virtually unhittable over the last month. In his last 13 innings pitched the right has not allowed an earned run and has retired 17 via the strikeout. Iglesias has also converted all seven of his save opportunities over this span leaving him two shy of the fourth 30 save season of his career.
