Tristón Casas swatted his 22nd homerun of the campaign, drove in two runs and also scored twice to do his part in Boston’s 9-5 win over KC. The Cuban-American slugger is hitting .338 win 13 longballs and 38 RBIs since the All-Star break.
Raisel Iglesias extended his scoreless inning streak to 14 innings after tossing a scoreless ninth and notching his 28th save of the season in Atlanta’s 4-2 win over the Dodgers. Iglesias saw his ERA descend to 2.56 and has now saved more than 25 games in five of his nine seasons.
