Dairon Blanco went yard for the second time on the season, drove in a run and also scored a run in KansasCity’s 5-4 loss to Toronto. The speedy outfielder now 17 RBIs and 18 stolen bases on the season. In his second MLB season Blanco sports a solid .739 OPS.
Yoan Moncada continues to tear the cover off the ball, in last night’s action the infielder homered for the third straight game and knocked in three runs. The Whitesox shut out the Tigers the 6-0 and Moncada is hitting a blistering .435 in his last seven games.
J.D. Martínez returned to the lineup and celebrated by homering and driving in three runs in his four trips to the plate in LA’s 8-5 win over Washington. The native of Miami has now hit 26 longballs on the campaign and has knocked in 81 runs on the season.
