Also in Puerto Rico Adeiny Hechavarría drove in a run via an eleventh inning single to do his part in Carolina’s 10-5 victory over Santurce in extra frames. The infielder has been a spark for the team’s offense this year and hits .295 in the winter circuit.

In México Peter O’Brien slugged his eighth homerun of the season and drove in two runs in five trips to the plate to lead Culiacán to a 6-5 win over Hermosillo. The outfielder is second in the Liga ARCO in dingers and has now driven in 21 runs on the campaign.
In Nicaragua Adrián Moreno made his season debut in the LBPN swatting a homer and a triple in four at-bats, while also driving in four runs in Bóer’s 7-4 victory over the Gigantes de Rivas. The outfielder also scored a run and opens the season with a .500 average.
