In the LIDOM Dairon Blanco collected a hit, stole a base and scored a run to do his part in las Estrellas Orientales 3-0 blanking of the Águilas Cibaeñas. The outfielder watched his average rise to .224 on the season and has now stolen eight bases in his brief time with the team.
Dayán García drove in two runs via a single and a sacrifice fly in Chinandega’s 14-7 drubbing of El Tren del Norte. García is tied for the league lead in Nicaragua with 20 RBIs and is also hitting a solid .319 on the campaign.
