In the LIDOM Jorge Martínez tossed 6⅓ of three-hit, two-run ball and although he did not factor in the decision he still fanned five and his ERA fell to 3.05 on the season. Dairon Blanco swatted a double and a single that drove in runs on the evening to do his part the Estrellas Orientales 4-3 win over the Escogido.
In México Maikel Serrano swatted three hits, knocked in three runs and scored on an occasion to lead Jalisco to a 10-6 victory over Mexicali. The slugger has collected six hits and driven for runs in his last two games to watch his average rise to a robust .394 on the season.
