José Abreu swatted a run-scoring double in two trips to the plate and also scored a run to do his part in Houston’s 6-3 win over the Cardinals. The first baseman is now hitting .286 and has also drove in his first run on the spring.
Adolis García knocked in a run for the second day in a row via a fifth inning double in three at-bats in the defending world champion Texas Rangers’ 7-5 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks. The outfielder is now hitting .333 on the preseason.
