Adolis García knocks in two in Rangers’ rout of Houston. (+MLB Report)

Adolis García collected two hits in three trips to the plate and knocked in two runs to lead the Texas Rangers to a 12-8 win over the Astros. The outfielder is now hitting a robust .409 over his last seven games and has driven in 15 runs on the campaign.

Nolan Arenado had his best night of the early season, hitting a homerun amongst his three hits on the night and drove in three runs to command St. Louis’ 9-6 win over Arizona. The infielder is hitting a solid .276 on the campaign.

Alex Faedo tossed two scoreless innings in relief where he fanned two to do his part in Detroit’s 8-2 win. The right-hander has started the young season with a 2.16 earned run average. The converted starter figures to be a key longer releiver for the felines this season.
