Andy Pages Hits First MLB Home Run in 10-0 Rout Over Mets

Los Angeles Dodgers’ Andy Pages, 23, hit his first MLB home run on April 21st in a 10-0 win against the New York Mets. His three-run homer came in the fifth inning to center field off Grant Hartwig, and it was his first multi-hit game in MLB.

Pages made his MLB debut on April 16th against the Washington Nationals, and is currently hitting .222 in 5 games. He is ranked as the third prospect in the Dodgers’ farm system and 93rd overall in baseball. Pages was called-up after an impressive season start in Triple-A, where he slashed .371/.452/.694 with a 1.146 OPS over 15 games.

Born in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba, Pages signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2018 as an international free agent, with a $300,000 signing bonus.
