Yunesky Maya continues to impress on the mound at 42 years of age. The right-hander tossed six innings of three-hit, two-run ball, but dropped his first decision of the year in a Campeche 6-4 loss to Oaxaca. The hurler saw his ERA rise to a miniscule 1.13 on the season.
Rubi Silva (4-3,3RBI,3R), Yosmany Guerra (5-2,2B,HR,5RBI,R) and Yurisbel Gracial (4-2,2B,RBI,3R) combined to lead Querétaro to a 14-5 win over Yucatán. Leonys Martín also got in on the act with a double, RBI and two runs scored. Silva also made a tremendous play on a Yadir Drake drive in the eighth to top off the night.
