The Chicago White Sox have called up Bryan Ramos, The 22 year old third baseman from Havana, Cuba signed with the White Sox in 2018 for $300,000. He is currently ranked as the fourth best prospect in the team’s system.
Ramos moved up to Double-A in 2022 and has mainly played for the Birmingham Barons since then. In the 2023 Arizona Fall League, he won Hitter of the Week for Week 5, hitting .333 with two home runs and six RBI.
Starting this season with the Birmingham Barons, over the last 7 days he has picked up his play from his early season slump with a slash line of .333/.364/.667 with a 1.030 OPS. Over the five games Ramos has four doubles, a home run, five RBI, a walk and stolen base.
Ramos aims to maintain his hot hitting streak and bolster the 6-26 Chicago White Sox.
