Slugger Alejandro Rivero swatted two homeruns and knocked in five in his four trips to the plate yesterday in Chihuahua’s 10-9 loss to Aguacalientes. The native of Matanzas, Cuba also scored twice and is now hitting a robust .333 on the season to accompany his RBIs this year.
JC Negret also helped the cause with hits, an RBI and a run scored in his five at-bats for the Dorados. The outfielder watched his average. The outfielder upped his RBI total to six on the campaign.
Leonys Martín collected two hits in four trips to the dish, while also scoring Querétaro’s only run in their loss to Oaxaca 6-1. Martín is now hitting .349 on the, while he is also third in the LMB with a 1.195 OPS.
