Miguel Romero notches his second win on the season for Querétaro. (+Mexican League Report)

Although it wasn’t his best outing of the year Miguel Romero still managed to notch his second victory on the season after tossing 5 ⅓ innings in which he gave up four runs via eight hits and struck out four in Querétaro’s 15-4 win over Oaxaca. The right- hander saw his ERA rise to 3.56 on the season.

Leonys Martín and Yurisbel Gracial went yard and knocked in four combined, while Roel Santos also drove in two runs to lead the Conspiradores offense on the evening. By his own right Yosmany Guerra continues to shine at the age of 40, the infielder also drove in two runs and scored on an occasion to continue his incredible showing on the campaign.

Ronald Bolaños had arguably his best outing of the season pitching five innings of four-hit, one-run ball in Unión Laguna’s 7-2 win over Tijuana. The righty who won his first game of the season also struck out one and his ERA fell to 8.56 on the year.
