Henry Urrutia collected two hits, both of them leaving the yard in three trips to the plate and also knocked in six runs to lead Saltillo to a 9-1 thrashing of the over Monterrey. The talented veteran also scored twice and is now hitting a robust .333 on the campaign.

Yordan Nodal tossed five innings of four-hit, one-run ball in Leon’s 7-3 loss to México City. The hard-throwing left-hander was very dominant on the evening, but León was beaten by México City 7-3. Nodal has been spectacular in his last two outings and now has allowed one run in his last 10 innings pitched.
In a duel between Cubans Yoanner Negrín (7.0IP,3H,0ER,6K) and Ariel Miranda (6.0IP,2H,ER,7K), Negrín came out victorious in Yucatán’s 1-0 shutout of Campeche. Negrín watched his ERA descend to 3.08 on the season, while Miranda now sports an earned run average of 3.46.
