Yandy Díaz homered for the fourth time on the season in his five at-bats and also drove in two runs. The infielder also scored once to do his part in the Rays 8-5 win. Díaz is hitting a solid .385 over his 15 games.

Jorge Soler collected two hits in four trips to the plate and knocked in three runs to do his part in San Francisco’s 9-5 win over Pittsburgh. The power-hitting has driven in six runs since his return from the disabled list.

Andy Ibáñez swatted a two-run double in two trips to the plate, butthe Tigers fell 8-3 to Kansas City. The utilityman is hitting .298 over his last 15 games and has driven in 10 runs on the season.

Néstor Cortés tossed five scoreless innings to notch his third win of the season in the Yankees’ 7-3 victory over the Mariners. The Cuban left-hander fanned six and has a 2.68 ERA in his last seven trips to the mound.
