On this Memorial Day Adrián Morejón tossed two scoreless innings in relief during San Diego’s 2-1 win over the Marlins. The Cuban left-hander who notched his first win of the season also fanned and saw his ERA descend to 2.08.

Dairon Blanco collected a run-scoring single in his four trips to the plate, but his best efforts could not save Kansas City from a 6-5 defeat to Minnesota. The speedy outfielder now hit .264 and has driven in four runs on the season.

José Abreu returned to the Astros’ lineup by driving in a run via a sharp single to centerfield in the fifth inning, but Houston still fell to Seattle 3-2. The first baseman saw his average rise to .108 on the campaign.
