Javier Mirabal debuts in the LMB. (Mexican League Report)

Javier Mirabal made his professional debut last night pitching two innings in relief during which he gave up a run via three hit and struck out two. The hurler looked impressive hitting 94 mph with his fastball in Leon’s 8-2 loss to Quintana Roo.

Henry Urrutia continues to swing a hot bat for León swatting two hits and knocking in a run to see his average rise to .342 on the season. The slugger has now driven in 34 runs on the campaign.

Elian Leyva saw his first action in a month and tossed three scoreless innings, while also striking out three in his duel with Trevor Bauer in Yucatán’s 5-3 loss to México City. Leyva was on a 45 pitch limit due to his inactivity and his ERA fell to 3.52 on the season.
