The right-hander from Pinar del Río, Cuba has only allowed runs in two of the 38 appearances he has made so far this campaign. Martínez decreased his ERA to 0.73 and is the leader in the Central League in saves with 22.
Liván Moinelo left with a no-decision after giving up three runs on six hits in seven complete innings during SoftBank’s 5-3 victory over Rakuten. His record stays at 5-2 and his ERA ascended to 1.61 on the season, that figure still keeps him in the lead of that statistical category in the Pacific League.
