Nolan Arenado goes yard, but St. Louis falls to KC. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Nolan Arenado went yard for the eighth time on the season, but St. Louis fell to the in-state rival Kansas City 6-4. After a slow start to the season the Cuban-American infielder is hitting a robust .364 over his last seven games. Arenado has now knocked in 38 runs on the year.

José Iglesias collected three hits in four trips to the plate, drove in two runs and scored twice to do his part in New York’s 6-2 win over Washington. The Cuban infielder has sparked the team from Gotham’s offense in his short time in their lineup and now hits .338 on the campaign.

Andy Ibáñez hit an eighth inning pinch-hit solo homer to mark the difference in Detroit’s 5-4 win over Cleveland. The native of the Isle of Youth has now slugged three longballs on the campaign and watched his average raise to .290.

Zach Neto knocked in three runs via a in the third inning double and an eighth two-run homerun to lead the Angels to a 7-2 win over the Rangers. The native of Miami also scored three times and now driven in 21 runs this month. The infielder now has 32 extra-base hits at the midway point of the campaign.
