Carlos Juan Viera and Yurisbel Gracial lead Querétaro to a Game 2 win. (+LMB Playoffs)

Yurisbel Gracial went yard for the third time in two games and knocked in two runs, whole also scoring twice in Querétaro’s 9-1 win over Veracruz. The slugger now hits a robust .500 in the series and the Conspiradores have a commanding 2-0.

Carlos Juan Viera was masterful on the mound for Querétaro by tossing six innings of six-hit, one-run ball to also do his part in the win. After a not-so-good regular season the right-hander has stepped in the playoffs.

In a loss Lázaro Blanco pitched four innings in relief in which he only gave a run via four hits and retired four by way of the strikeout. The native of Granma, Cuba was a big late season edition by “El Águila”.
