Liván Moinelo is masterful in a SoftBank Hawks win. (+Asian League Report)

Liván Moinelo earned his eighth victory of the year in SoftBank’s 6-4 over Chiba Lotte after allowing just one run , four hits and fanning seven in seven solid innings of work. His record is now 8-3 and his ERA descended to 1.54, a figure that leaves him as the leader in that statistical category in the Nippon circuit.

Guillermo Heredia collected a hit in five trips to the plate, scored a run and drove in a run during SSG’s 6-2 win over Kiwoom. The outfielder and his .361 average now leads the league in that statistical category.

The 2024 All-Star is also fourth in the league in RBI’s (83) and eighth in OPS (.920). The re-signing of slugger was a very important move by the team this offseason and has paid dividends. The Landers are currently holding on to the last playoff spot in the KBO.
