Yordan Álvarez went yard, the 150th homer of his career and knocked in two runs to do his part in Houston’s 4-2 win over Texas. The slugger from Las Tunas, Cuba also scored once on the evening and now sports a solid .300 average on the campaign.

José Iglesias collected two hits in four trips to the plate and scored a run, but his best efforts couldn’t save the Mets from a 6-3 defeat at the hands of the Rockies. The infielder has been a Godsend for the team from Gotham hitting a robust .336 during his limited at-bats with the squad.

Nick Castellanos swatted two hits in five at-bats, drove in a run and also scored on an occasion during Philly’s 6-2 over the Dodgers. The Cuban-American outfielder has now driven in 58 runs on the season and hits .293 over the last month.
