Ronald Bolaños is masterful in a Los Mochis victory. (+Cuban Winter League Report)

Ronald Bolaños did not allow a run in five innings of work and only allowed one hit, but did not factor in the decision in Los Mochis 6-3 win over Navojoa in the Liga ARCO. The Cuban hurler also retired seven via the strikeout and did not hand out a walk during his outing.

Roel Santos helped the cause with a hit, two stolen bases and a run scored, while Félix Stevens scores a run and knocked in a run all while going hitless on the evening. Yasmany Tomás scored a run as well in a decisive ninth frame.

In Venezuela Lázaro Blanco tossed 4⅔ innings of one-run, three-hit ball, but also did not factor during Aragua’s 8-1 win over Anzoátegui. The Cuban right-hander also fanned three batters and leaves his first start of the season with a 1.93 earned run average.
