Cuba reveals their lineup for its preparation games against LG.

The Cuban national team that is preparing in Korea for the Premier 12 already recelead its first lineup for the first preparation game of its tour of the Asian country, according to the Cuban Federation. This is will probably not be the country’s lineup  for opening  night of the tournament because there are players who have not yet joined the Cuban delegation in its preparation.

The team’s first duel is against the LG Twins’ minor league team, one of the best farm teams in the KBO. This team was the champion of the circuit in 2023 and this year they finished in third place after losing in the semifinals to the Samsung Lions. In the history of the competition, LG is considered one of the most important teams of the circuit.

Yusniel Padrón will start for Cuba tonight, while Andrys Pérez will be behind the plate. Tonight will also be the first time we see ex-Oakland prospect Lázaro Armenteros with the national team. Guillermo Avilés will start at first and José Noroña will be in the outfield due to the absences of Roel Santos and Ariel Martínez.
