Richard Guasch extended his scoreless inning streak innings streak to 10 and notched his first save in the LVBP during the Caribes de Anzoátegui’s 6-5 win over La Guaira. The right-hander saw his ERA remain at 0.00 and has now fanned 15 on the campaign.
In the Liga ARCO Ronald Bolaños won his first game of the season after tossing 5.2 innings in which he allowed a run via four hits and struck out five. Although he also walked five the Cañeros de Los Mochis still downed Mazatlán 7-2. Bolaños now sports a 7.11 on the season.
In the LIDOM JC Escarra, Yadiel Hernández and César Prieto combined for six hits, two runs batted in and six runs scored to lead the Águilas Cibaeñas in their 16-5 thrashing of the Toros del Este. The three Cuban sluggers are now hitting .211,.222 and .500 respectively.
