Ronald Bolaños named Pitcher of the Week in the Liga ARCO.

Ronald Bolaños had another excellent week in the Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico and it earned him the Pitcher of the Week award again. The right-hander from Mayabeque, Cuba continues to shine November with the Cañeros de Los Mochis.

In his last outing he had he notched another victory on Saturday, November 23, Bolaños started his team’s second game in the second  half of the ARCO League season against the Tomateros de Culiacán at the Emilio Ibarra Almada stadium.

Against the Mexican squad, Bolaños tossed seven innings, in which he struck out six opponents and only issued a couple of walks, while only allowing a run and only surrendering a hit that night, off the bat of Ali Solis after retiring the first eight rivals he faced on the evening.

His quality outing against the Tomateros was his second of the season against the team, also consecutively. Although Bolanos’ season did not start very well, losing two of its first three games, but the righty has found his footing and in what way, coming out victorious in three of his last four games.

During the 2024-2025 campaign, Bolaños has pitched in eight games (all as a starter), of which he has won three and lost two, with an ERA of 3.89 allowing 16 earned runs allowed in 37 innings. He has fanned 35 hitters, has issued 24 walks and has given up 28 hits. Bolaños also sports a sterling WHIP of 1.38 in his second season with the Cañeros.
