Lázaro Armenteros swatted a run-scoring first inning double in three trips to the plate for the losing squad and the slugging outfielder left his first action with a solid .333 average. Yanquiel Fernández collected to hits in four at-bats and scored a run to also aid the cause.
Yadir Drake swatted a two-run homer and drove in two runs, but Guasave still fell 4-3 at the hands of Hermosillo 4-3. The Cuban slugger saw his average rise to .262 and has now driven in 24 on the campaign for the Algodoneros.
