JC Escarra continues to make his case for MVP of the LIDOM. During last night’s victory over the Senadores de San Juan the right-hander from Camagüey, Cuba tossed a scoreless inning in relief in which he only allowed a hit and fanned two. The hurler also saw his ERA descend to 3.38 on the season.
In the Liga ARCO Victor Labrada homered and doubled while also driving in a run and scoring on an occasion, but the Sultanes de Monterrey fell to the Tomateros de Culiacán 5-2. The talented outfielder is now hitting a solid .277 on the campaign.
