Rangel Ravelo knocks in four in a Lara victory. (+Cuban Winter League Report)

Rangel Ravelo went yard for the second time in the Round Robin, a fifth inning three-run blast to do his part in Lara’s 7-3 win over Magallanes. The Cuban slugger also swatted three hits and knocked a total of four runs to watch his average rise to .375 on the LVBP postseason.

In the LBPRC Orlando Martínez collected two hits in three trips to the plate and also drove in the only run of the game during Caguas’ 1-0 blanking of Santurce. The Cuban outfielder has now watched his average jump to .295 on the campaign with the Criollos.

Yasmany Tomás laced a second inning single to drive in a run and also knocked another run via a sacrifice fly in Los Mochis 8-2 thrashing of Guasave, while Victor Labrada also helped the cause with a hit in four at-bats and two runs scored. The Cañeros now lead the postseason best-of-seven series 2-1.
