Yoán López shines in an Águilas win. (+Cuban Winter League Report)

Yoán López fanned two of the five batters he faced during the Águilas Cibaeñas’ 6-1 win over the Estrellas Orientales. The reliever has been one of the team’s bright spots. The flamethrowing hurler has not allowed a run and has struck out five in 3⅓ innings pitched in the Dominican postseason.

Rangel Ravelo continues to add to his LVBP record for a foreigner in runs batted in during the league’s postseason. The Cuban slugger drove in a run and scored a run in four trips to the plate during Lara’s 17-7 win over Aragua securing a spot for the team in the Venezuelan League’s final. Ravelo now has 67 RBIs in the playoffs in his career.
