Nick Castellanos swatted two doubles in three trips to the plate and knocked in two runs to pace Philadelphia to a 4-1 win over the Cardinals. The Cuban-American slugger has now blasted five doubles on the campaign.
Yennier Cano continues to dominate in relief, during yesterday’s Baltimore 5-4 win over the Bluejays the right-hander tossed a scoreless inning in relief giving him now 6⅓ stanzas without allowing a run to open the season. The hurler also notched his second hold of the year.
