Randy Arozarena launched a solo-shot in the top of the ninth to tie a game between the Reds and Mariners at seven and then knocked in another two runs in the top of the tenth via a double to lead Seattle to an 11-7 victory over the Reds.
The dynamic also outfielder scored twice on the day and watched his average rise to .212 on the season. Arozarena now has four bombs on the season and is hitting a solid .318 over his last seven games with the team from the Emerald City.
Nick Castellanos collected a hit in three trips to the plate and drove in a run to do his part in Philadelphia’s 6-4 win over the San Francisco Giants. The Cuban-American outfielder is now hitting a solid .304 and his driven 12 runs on the campaign.
Adolis García went yard for the third time on the season, a third inning solo-shot and drove in another run via a sacrifice fly in three trips to the plate during Texas’ 5-3 triumph over the Angels. The native of Ciego de Ávila, Cuba has now driven in seven runs on the season.
