“El Bombi” walks it off against the Dodgers. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Adolis García swatted a two-run bottom of the ninth inning homerun against Kirby Yates to walk it off against the Dodgers by a 4-3 count. The outfielder has now belted four longballs on the campaign and raised his average to .229.

Yariel Rodríguez tossed two innings in relief during which he didn’t allow a hit or a run, while also striking out two and two in the Bluejays 8-4 loss to Seattle. After a slow start the Cuban has a 2.16 ERA over the last seven games.

Luis Robert hit a two-run bomb in a three-run seventh inning for the White Sox, but it was not enough to lead them to victory over the Red Sox. The Pale Holes still fell 4-3 to the visitors from Beantown. The Cuban outfielder has now swatted two homers on the season.

Raisel Iglesias notched his fourth save of the season after pitching a scoreless ninth inning in which he struck out a batter to secure the Braves 4-3 win over the Twins. The righty from the Isle of Youth is now two saves away from 230 for his career.
