Orlando Martínez knocks in three in a Rieleros’ victory. (+Mexican League Report)

Orlando Martínez hit his third longball of the season and knocked in three runs to do his part in Aguascalientes’ 12-7 thrashing of Jalisco. The outfielder who has caught the eye of a few teams from Asia is now hitting .296 on the campaign.

Yadir Drake continues to establish himself as a Mexican League legend. In yesterday’s action the slugger from Matanzas, Cuba knocked in a run during his three trips to the plate during Yucatán’s 3-0 victory over León and is now hitting a robust .345 on the season.

Osiel Rodríguez tossed a scoreless inning in relief for the Bravos and saw his ERA descend to 2.45 on the season. Look for the right-hander to play a major role in team’s bullpen this year.
